Welcome to the home page of Morris Racing. We're from Chelsea, Oklahoma (Division 4). We race anywhere from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and more. Morris Racing has been in the sport of Junior Drag Racing for six years, and is now competing in Super Pro.
In the 2010 season, Morris Racing made the switch to Super Pro causing us to miss three quarters of the season due to all the testing we did to prepare and become comfortable with the car. With six years history of JDR (Junior Drag Racing), I, Brodie, have became very competitive, yet maintain a very sportsman-like attitude. Growing up racing junior dragsters taught me that you have to learn to lose, before you can learn win. You can't go to a race expecting to win because all that's going to do is upset you when you lose.
Parents always ask me, "Are you glad you started racing?" Of course I'm glad, as should any other kid that does! Racing isn't just a sport to compete in. It's a sport that you grow to love and have respect for. You get the opportunity to meet amazing parents and kids, but not only that, people that drive racecars starting at the age of 8, all the way up to 80 or older. Morris Racing has learned a lot from being in the sport of drag racing, and plan to keep racing for many years to come. If any parents are wondering, "Do I really want my kid driving a racecar?" Your answer to yourself should be simply, "Yes," because you won't regret it.
